All bookings are subject to availability. Any quote given is an estimate of price and will only be confirmed once a deposit is paid and written confirmation is issued. All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and are per room, per night. DEPOSITS Deposits are required on all apartments booked. A one night deposit is required for bookings made outside of 14 days prior to arrival. Bookings made within 13 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking. The deposit required will be charged to the credit card provided when making an on-line booking. If the credit card provided is declined by your bank, attempts will be made to contact you, however if the deposit is not paid within 24 hours, 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking. Your booking will be confirmed by email within 24 hours of receipt of bank transfer or credit card being cleared for your deposit amount. A Trust account receipt will be issued at the time the deposit is taken and will be emailed upon request. ADDITIONAL PERSONS Unless otherwise specified on your confirmation, additional persons are at a cost of $65 per person per night utilising existing apartment bedding. Porta cot and high chair hire is a available at $20 per item per night. Twin bed option is available on request for an additional cost of $65 per stay. SPECIAL REQUESTS Whilst 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd attempts to accommodate all special requests (subject to availability), we cannot guarantee that special requests can be accommodated. Twin bed option is available on request for an additional cost of $65 per stay. ROOM ALLOCATION POLICY 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd has a policy of allocating apartment types at the time of booking. On very rare occasions, 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd may not be able to offer you the same room for your whole stay. If you are required to move rooms during your stay you will be notified prior to your deposit being processed. If you choose not to accept the booking with the required room move prior to your deposit being processed 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd will cancel your booking at no cost to you. Room move bookings may need to depart one room at 10am and check into the next room at 2pm. During this time, resort facilities can be utilised and luggage storage arranged. PAYMENTS Payment for the balance of accommodation is required 14 days prior to arrival. Once this balance is paid, no amendments can be made to the booking. Payments can be made by Bank Transfer, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Visa or Mastercard will incur a 1.2% (inclusive of GST) Credit Card Surcharge. American Express will incur a 3% (inclusive of GST) Credit Card Surcharge. BOOKING AMENDMENTS All booking amendments are subject to availability and applicable pricing increases. Amendments must be made outside of 14 days prior to arrival. Within 13 days of arrival, no amendments are permissible. CANCELLATIONS - 14 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL For direct phone or online website bookings cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival, deposits will be refunded less a $300 administration fee per apartment. All refunds are processed via the same payment method used for the deposit. CANCELLATIONS - 13 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL Direct phone or online website bookings cancelled 13 days or less prior to arrival are non-refundable. If any nights of the original booking dates and apartment are re-let, the amount re-let will be held in a hotel credit for 12 months, less the $300 administration fee per apartment, no refunds available. CANCELLATIONS - TRAVEL AGENT OR ON-LINE BOOKING AGENCIES These bookings are to be paid in full at the time of booking with no refunds or amendments available. NO SHOW A no show is when you do not check in on the scheduled day. In the case of a no show refunds are not available. If any nights of the original booking dates and apartment are re-let, the amount re-let will be held in a hotel credit for 12 months, less the $300 administration fee per apartment. EARLY DEPARTURES Should guests need to depart earlier than the booked accommodation dates no refunds are available. If any of the original booking dates and apartment are re-let, then the amount re-let will be held in a hotel credit for 12 months. TRAVEL INSURANCE 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive domestic travel insurance, including however not limited to; cover for forfeiture of deposits/payments, unfortunate medical or personal situations that prevent you from staying the booked dates or part thereof, and damage or loss to personal items. Unfortunately we are unable to be flexible on the terms and conditions of your booking. PHOTO ID & CREDIT CARD Upon check in you will be required to provide photographic identification matching the booking details. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled. You will also need to provide the valid credit card used for pre-payments and allow the team to process a $1 pre-authorisation to validate the card. This pre-authorisation will be refunded after your departure. CHECK IN Check in time is 2.00pm. Should you wish to guarantee an earlier check in time you must book an additional night’s stay at the time of booking and pay the applicable rate. CHECK OUT Check out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to guarantee a later check out time you must book an additional night’s stay at the time of booking and pay the applicable rate. You are welcome to utilise the resort facilities and guest amenities for the day of departure UNACCOMPANIED MINORS All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian at all times. If a guest is found to be under the age of 18 and is not accompanied by an adult, 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd may immediately cancel the guest’s booking. RELEASE & INDEMNITY To the extent permitted by law, any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought into the room or onto grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd is not responsible for their safekeeping. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd for any reason whatsoever. You agree to indemnify 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd except to the extent caused or contributed to by 71 Hastings Street Pty Ltd or its current or former officers, employees or agent's negligence. We grant you a licence to stay at our property and we reserve the right to terminate the licence at any time.
