Cancellation Policy A two-day notice period applies to all cancellations; failure to cancel two days prior will incur a fee of one night's accommodation. If your booking is through a third party like Booking.com/Expedia, your original cancellation policy applies. Which means there is NO free cancellation on your booking within 48 hours. Please BOOK DIRECT for hassle free cancellation. Group Bookings Group Bookings: A group booking is defined as five or more separate rooms reserved. Deposit Schedule: To secure your group reservation, we require a structured deposit schedule as follows: -20% Deposit: This initial deposit is due one month prior to your arrival date. It ensures your booking is confirmed and held for your group. -50% Deposit: A second deposit of 50% of the total booking cost is required two weeks before your arrival. This helps us prepare for your stay and allocate the necessary resources. -30% Deposit (Remaining Balance): The final deposit, covering the remaining 30%, is due one week before your arrival. This completes the financial commitment for your group reservation. Important Note: All deposits made are non-refundable. We recommend considering your travel plans carefully before securing your booking, as changes or cancellations will affect your deposits. Child Policy Your booking is confirmed for the number of guests listed on your reservation, including adults and children. Please be advised our rooms are set at maximum occupancy. If your occupancy is going to be higher than what's on your reservation, you need to contact us immediately. Otherwise, there is a risk your booking will be cancelled at check-in. No Party Policy We have a strict ‘No Party Policy’ at the Bluegum Dubbo to ensure all our guests have a pleasant stay with us. Management of the Bluegum Dubbo reserve the right to refuse accommodation at their discretion we also have the right to remove you from the premises with no refunds, at any time. ID Guests are required to show a photo identification at check-in. Payment Policy We required a valid credit card for payment and check-in. Debit cards can used for payment but a credit card is required for room security. We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time if a valid credit card isn't supplied. If you are staying on behalf of a company, and payment is to be processed to a non-presented card, please download, fill out, and return our third-party payment authorisation form before the guest stays. Please use this form to accept liability for employees' or referred guests' room security if that guest does not have a credit card. Local bookings Local bookings (and/or any local guests) within a 60km radius of Dubbo require a $300 cash bond at check-in, which is refunded on checkout. If you have not turned up for your booking, the full amount will be deducted from your credit card. Smoking In Rooms / Extra Cleaning We reserve the right to charge a $500 fee for extra cleaning if smoke is detected in the rooms. This includes cleaning, dry cleaning, airing out the room, carpet cleaning, and 1 or 2 nights of not being able to sell the room.
