Please note that our Reception is opened Mon - Fri 8.30am-5.00pm and Sat & Sun 9am-12noon. Closed on Public Holidays. If you are intending to arrive after these times please contact reception so the after hours procedure can be provided to you. We understand how important it is for everyone to enjoy their holiday. That is why we value peace and quiet. At Bayview, we have a strict no party policy and restrictions on excessive noise of any kind, including playing ball games, riding bikes, scooters, or skating in common areas or apartments. All guests to vacate common areas & balconies/courtyards from 10pm. Call out fees, security call out (at guest’s expense) &/or eviction may result for offenders. We have these policies in place to ensure all guests can enjoy their stay. Management reserves the right to require a refundable bond to be paid by guests before arrival. The bond covers noise, behaviour & extra cleaning requirements, if needed. The description of the property is given in good faith and no responsibility for misinterpretation will be accepted. STANDARD DEPOSIT The first night's tariff is paid on booking as the deposit with payment of the balance due 72 hours prior to arrival, except in Peak periods. PEAK PERIODS: EASTER/ CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS/ BLUES FEST/ SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS/ SCHOOLIES DEPOSIT: Peak period bookings require a 50% deposit on booking and the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. IMPORTANT: Your credit card will be charged either the first night's tariff, or 50% or 100% of the total tariff for peak periods, as the deposit within 24 hours of you making the booking. CANCELLATION POLICY STANDARD CANCELLATIONS (EXCLUDING PEAK PERIODS) There is a $165 administration fee if you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to your arrival If you cancel your booking 30 days or less before your arrival you will lose your deposit (1st night's tariff). If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of arrival the full tariff is due and will be charged to the credit card supplied. If the booking is not cancelled, the full tariff will be charged to the credit card supplied, as the apartment/s will be held unless otherwise notified. There are no refunds or rate changes for a shortened length of stay after check-in or within 30 days of arrival. These bookings are non-transferable. Please note that we have our cancellation policies in place to manage our risk. You should take appropriate measures to manage your risk. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays/ cancellations, natural disasters, family emergencies/illness, change of plans etc. If you make the choice not to take out travel insurance, we will not then be your surrogate travel insurance. Please note: we reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time and issue a full refund in the event of unforeseen circumstances. These events include, but are not limited to, sale of the property, weather damage, power blackouts, insect infestation, floods, and any other unusual event. Please note:        We are not a hotel; our apartments are self-contained (the apartments are not serviced daily). All guests are responsible for their own groceries. IMPORTANT: Please read the NOISE & BEHAVIOUR requirements below carefully. All linen and towels etc are supplied. Charges apply for additional towels or linen. Essentials like toiletries, tissues, and toilet paper are not topped up during your stay. Extra supplies are available for purchase in reception if you cannot make it to a supermarket. ** Due to COVID-19 still being part of our daily lives we ask all guests to follow Government recommended guidelines such as social distancing, and hygiene, eg: hand washing and use of sanitisers. Please read below for more details. *By accepting the apartment keys I/we agree to the below & a breach of house rules will incur additional charges & could lead to eviction without refund. I have noted & understood the terms/conditions of my booking and the cancellation policy. HOUSE RULES Unfortunately, we have to enforce house rules to ensure all guests enjoy their stay, so please be respectful or charges will apply for the following: BEHAVIOUR: Here at Bayview we understand how important it is for everyone to enjoy their holiday. That is why we value peace and quiet. AT BAYVIEW, WE HAVE A STRICT NO PARTY POLICY AND STRICT LIMITS ON EXCESSIVE NOISE. We require all guests to vacate all common areas, including the BBQ area, and apartment balconies and outside areas after 10pm & keep noise to a minimum. We ask all guests returning to Bayview at night to please consider other guests and keep the noise to a minimum, this includes the stairwells. Call out fee, security call out (at guest’s expense) &/or eviction may result for offenders. We have these policies in place to ensure all guests can enjoy their stay. Charges starting from $250 &/or eviction will apply. Security will be called and the cost charged to guests. Breaches include: Guests on balconies, in courtyards or BBQ area after 10pm. Unregistered guests in the complex after 10pm. Request to open gate or apartment after 5pm. Noisy, offensive, unruly behaviour at any time. Large groups congregating in apartments or on balconies at any time. Outside guests using the Pool or BBQ area Unregistered guests, or exceeding max allowed, staying in apartments.   Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex or you can request bank details for direct deposit into our Trust Account. We apologise for any inconvenience but due to sanitary concerns, we do not accept payments in cash. Car park:     STRICTLY 1 car space per unit & No parking allowed in staff parking or loading zones at the rear of the building. All other vehicles to park off-site. Fines starting at $132 per day if parked in incorrect car space or using more than 1 car space. Some additional car parks may be available at a cost of $11 per night. Please note that any vehicle parked on Bayview property is parked at the vehicle owner and/or driver's own risk and neither the Owners Corporation, management or staff of Bayview Beachfront Apartments accept any liability for any damage or theft of a vehicle or its contents. Pool/BBQ:    For the use of Bayview guests ONLY Pool lounges cannot be reserved. Belongings will be removed by Staff if left on unattended lounges. For the consideration of other guests, please clean the BBQ after use. Smoking:     No Smoking in apartments. A cleaning charge starting from $352 will apply. Cleaning:     If your apartment is left in an unacceptable state such as rubbish/bottles/dirty dishes: charges starting from $132 Check out:   STRICTLY by 10AM - guests & vehicles (NO EXCEPTIONS)- charges apply if after 10am I understand that I am responsible for payment of any breakages &/or damage caused. I understand that I may be required to pay a refundable bond either before or during my stay as security against behaviour and/or damage risk. I agree my liability for charges is not waived and agree to be held personally liable in the event the indicated person or association fails to pay. I agree all outstanding charges on my account will be paid before departure. I authorise Management/Maintenance/Housekeeping staff access to my unit if necessary. I agree to these house rules & understand that a breach of them will incur additional charges & could lead to eviction without refund. I have noted & understood the terms/conditions & cancellation policy of my booking including no refund for shortened length of stay. I understand & agree that I will be charged additonal fees if I check out after 10am. Please note that in this agreement references to the singular include the plural and vice versa.
