Payment Bookings by telephone and on-line will only be confirmed with a valid credit card number and expiry date. Credit card details are for the confirmation of your booking only. You may pay by other methods on arrival or departure. Payment by credit card does incur a 3% surcharge. A deposit will be required for other methods payment and large group bookings. If you have booked on a non-refundable promotion then payment will be taken at time of booking. PLEASE NOTE: Any bookings made for 23rd December to 2nd January are fully non-refundable due to being over a special event period. All bookings made with a stay within these dates, payment will be taken from the credit card provide on the 1st December. Cancellation Our Standard Cancellation & Amendment Policy: We ask, with respect, that cancellations or amendments are advised no later than 48 hours prior to 2pm on the date of arrival. Cancelling within the 48 hours or not showing for your booking may see the credit card provided charged for the total stay. Peak Period 23rd Dec to 30th April and Event Weekends Cancellation & Amendment Policy: We ask, with respect, that cancellations or amendments are advised no later than 7 days prior to 2pm on the date of arrival. Cancelling within the 7 days prior to arrival or not showing for your booking will see the credit card provided charged for the total stay. We reserve the right to take payment for rooms 7 days prior to arrival date and a credit card fee of 2% will be charged at this time Event weekends include Cromwell Car Show Weekend, ROAR, Warbirds, Gold Panny Champs, Highlands Motorsports Park Race Weekends, Grand Prix, Cromwell Car Show, Christmas and New Years period Covd-19 - In relation to Covid-19 we will only accept cancellations where the NZ Government have advised of a Covid Alert Level change which restricts travel between the guest’s home region and /or the Central Otago region of Cromwell, therefore not allowing guests to arrive for their booking, under these circumstances’ cancellation will be free of charge. Any other circumstances will see the above Cancellation Policy apply. Child A child is a person therefore the additional person surcharge applies. Check In Arrangements must be made for check in outside office hours.Smoking: As this is a smoke free complex. Please smoke outside away from open windows, doors and other guests, especially children. In the event of someone having smoked in the room we will engage a specialist cleaning company. We reserve the right to charge such costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest. We reserve the right to charge cleaning cost or loss of income in the event of any damage to room, furniture or bodily fluids to the registered guest. Check out is 10am, if you are have not vacated your room by 11am then an extra full nights accommodation will be charge to the registered guest. General: Visitors are permitted at the management discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behavior of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behavior resulting in loss of income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest.
