Standard terms and conditions of staying at Island Beach Resort as written on guest registration form: A copy of photo ID must be provided - picture, scan, photocopy, email or text acceptable, to receive your room keys. HOUSE RULES AND BOOKING CONDITIONS: We enforce a strict NO Party policy for the peaceful enjoyment of all guests. The person signing this form understands, agrees and consents to the following terms and conditions: 1. Guests and invitees are expected to behave in a manner which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the property. A breach of any house rules may result in the summary eviction of the offender at the discretion of the Manager, with or without the assistance of the QLD Police. 2. That all guests, over the age of 2 years, accommodated at Island Beach Resort will be charged- should guest numbers exceed those quoted on the original booking each additional guest over 2 years of age will be charged at the rate of $30 per person per night. 3. Each booking is quoted as up to 2 guests per night in a 1 bedroom apartment and up to 4 guests per night in a 2 bedroom apartment. Extra guest are charged at $30 per person per night up to maximum room occupancy not to exceed a maximum of 3 adult guests in a one bedroom apartment and 5 adults in the 2 bedroom apartments. 4. A Breach of House Rules includes; a. SMOKING - No smoking is permitted in the building at all. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony with the balcony doors closed. If smoking on the balcony ashtrays or other receptacles must be used at all times. b. No pets at all allowed on the property. c. BEHAVIOUR - No Noisy, offensive or unruly behaviour including destruction or damage to property. d. Improper or unseemly conduct. e. Any act or omission which in the opinion of the Manager adversely affects for brings discredit upon The Manager, owner or other guests. 5. Guests agree to check out at 10.00am or a late checkout fee will apply, unless prior arrangements have been made with The Manager. 6. Guests agree to leave the unit in a clean & tidy state or an extra housekeeping fee will apply. This includes ALL RUBBISH being removed from the apartment, dishes washed and oven empty. 7. Guests agree to return all keys and accept that a replacement fee of $200 applies for each unreturned key. 8. Guests acknowledge any after hours call out due to lock out of their room will incur a service fee of $100.00 outside of business hours up to 9 pm, after 10 pm a fee of $150.00. Conditions of Bailment: 1. This establishment shall not be liable to any guest or invitee of a guest for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought upon these premises by the said guests or invitee unless such loss, damage or destruction was the deliberate or negligent act off the proprietor or licensee of these premises, or its authorized agents and employees of the property. 2. Guests will be charged an excess of $150.00 for laundry and cleaning, if smoking rules have been breached. 3. Without limiting the foregoing, personal property shall include money, jewelry, and other personal effects and motor vehicles parked on the premises. 4. When a guest registers at reception or accepts an after hours check in, or an invitee proceeds beyond that point, they shall be deemed to have agreed too, and be bound by these conditions whether the register is signed or not. 7. The Guest is liable for payment of any charges incurred by persons in Guests apartment, together with all replacement and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the apartment and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by any Guest or Visitor and by signing the Guest Registration Document authorizes Island Beach Resort to charge the Guests Credit Card (as supplied) for the value of costs associated with any damage or loss as listed above or for any costs incurred during the stay. 8. No refunds will apply once guests are in-house. 9. Once you have stayed at Island Beach Resort and paid for your accommodation, any attempt at a 'CHARGEBACK' will be treated as fraud and theft, the police will be notified and it will be dealt with accordingly. 10. A surcharge of 2% applies to all credit card payments
