Kirra Palms Holiday Apartments offer sixteen fully self-contained spacious apartments in One, Two or Three bedrooms. All apartments have air-conditioning in the lounge area, ceiling fans throughout, and private balconies, most with ocean views. The apartment types are Standard and Deluxe. There is walk-up access to each floor plus a secure underground car park. Each apartment offers free high speed unlimited Wi-Fi giving our guests the option to bring media streaming devices from home to enjoy the luxuries in life. For those without streaming services or who love sport, we also have Foxtel in all apartments with sports, movies and cartoon channels.

Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Photo ID and Credit Card MUST be presented upon check-in. The details of the credit card provided for your deposit must be verified at check-in. Without this card, you will be unable to check-in. To ensure your apartment is ready for check-in please let us know an estimated time of arrival. If travelling via airline, please also provide your airline name and flight number. We are a 3-storey complex and have stair access only (no lifts). Check-in: 2.00 pm Check-out: 10.00 am Any change in Check-In or Check-Out time must be arranged and approved by management prior to arrival and is subject to availability. Our office hours are: Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm; Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays CLOSED. If you are planning on arriving outside of our office hours, please ensure we have your correct personal email address and mobile phone number as details of how to collect your keys and checkin will be sent in an SMS and email closer to your checkin date. In the event you have not checked in during office hours and we have not been in contact, it will be assumed you are checking in afterhours and your check-in balance and security deposit will be deducted from the provided credit card. Keys will not be given until you complete our Credit Card Charge authority process. GENERAL INFORMATION: The apartment is self-contained, and we provide the following Starter Pack on your arrival: 1 x Dishwashing Powder & Liquid, 1 x Soap per person, 1 x Toilet Roll per bathroom, Tea, Coffee & Milk. If you require any additional items, these will need to be self-purchased at the local supermarket located in Coolangatta (about a 5 minute walk). Please ensure that any special bedding arrangements are advised to us at least 24hrs prior arrival date and is subject to availability - Additional person charges do apply. Specific room number requests will be subject to availability. Bed linen, blankets and bath towels are provided. Beach/Pool towels are not supplied so would recommend that you bring your own. There is 1 car space allocated per apartment. All apartments are NON-SMOKING. Smoking is allowed on balconies with the balcony glass doors closed. All apartments have access to free Wi-Fi - please see reception on arrival for your access code. NO Pets allowed. CANCELLATION POLICY, DEPOSITS & SECURITY BONDS: A Pre-authorisation of a fixed amount being the greater of $200 or one night's accommodation will be processed to your credit card as a Security Bond for any additional charges that may be incurred during your stay (eg: Phone calls, lost keys, damages/breakages etc). If a credit card is not available, a cash Security Bond would be required. Your Bond would be re-imbursed upon departure should the above incidents not apply. Please note that we highly recommend Travel Insurance to all guests (even for domestic travel). Cancellations are NOT accepted on or after the day of arrival. You will be charged the Total Accommodation Cost of your reserved stay. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable. Below cancellation policy applies to all bookings 30 nights or less. For longer stays than 30 nights please see Long Stay Confirmation Policy. If bookings are not direct and through an outside travel agency, the cancellation policy of that travel agency applies. Cancellations will need to be done through the booking agency. For all direct bookings, the below cancellation policies apply: Peak Season (24 December - 27 January) Cancellation advised more than 30 days prior to arrival date - you will be charged 1 night Accommodation. Cancellation advised within 30 days of arrival date - you would be subject to a Cancellation Fee of 100% Should we be able to relet your apartment for your entire stay at the same rate or higher we will refund the deposit less an Administration Fee of $50.00. All cancellations must be emailed to info@kirrapalms.com.au and will not be accepted over the phone. We will acknowledge all cancellations via Email. A deposit of 1 night Accommodation will be charged at booking. The balance of the booking will be charged within 30 days prior to arrival. Mid Season (School Holidays & Local Events) Cancellation advised more than 14 days prior to arrival date - you will be charged 1 night Accommodation. Cancellation advised within 14 days of arrival date - you would be subject to a Cancellation Fee of 100% Should we be able to relet your apartment for your entire stay at the same rate or higher we will refund the deposit less an Administration Fee of $50.00. All cancellations must be emailed to info@kirrapalms.com.au and will not be accepted over the phone. We will acknowledge all cancellations via Email. A deposit of 1 night Accommodation will be charged at booking. The balance of the booking will be charged within 14 days prior to arrival. Low Season (All other dates outside of Peak & Mid Season) Cancellation advised more than 14 days prior to arrival date - you will be subject to an Administration Fee of $75.00. Cancellation advised within 14 days of arrival date - you would be subject to a Cancellation Fee of 50%. Should we be able to relet your apartment for your entire stay at the same rate or higher we will refund the deposit less an Administration Fee of $75.00. All cancellations must be emailed to info@kirrapalms.com.au and will not be accepted over the phone. We will acknowledge all cancellations via Email. A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount will be charged within 14 days prior to arrival and the balance will be due on check in. COVID Cancellation Policy (Direct bookings only) This applies for sudden hard border closures or hot spots. Cancellation is only accepted based from guests original booking address and not if a guest has travelled through a hotspot. Proof of address will be required. Cancellation advised more than 14 days prior to arrival date – your deposit will become a credit to the total deposit amount. Credit to be used within 12 months from cancellation date. Cancellation advised within 7-14 days prior of arrival date - Seasonal cancellation policies will apply. In Low Season guest can either receive a credit to the value of the full deposit amount or be refunded less an Administration Fee of $50.00. Cancellation advised within 7 days prior to arrival date - You will be subject to a 100% Cancellation Fee during Peak Season and Mid Season and a 50% Cancellation Fee during Low Season. All cancellations must be emailed to info@kirrapalms.com.au and will not be accepted over the phone. We will acknowledge all cancellations via Email. ADDITIONAL BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS We accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards. Additional payment methods are direct transfer into our Trust account or cash. A guest registration form is required to be completed for all bookings. The registration form requests details of your name, address, drivers licence number as well as credit card details. If credit card details cannot be supplied a cash bond is payable. Amount of bond payable will be advised at time of booking so you must advise us if credit card details will not be available. The bond balance will be returned by EFT into your nominated bank account wihtin 7 days of your departure date. Bookings will not be accepted upon arrival if Credit Card details or a Cash bond is not supplied. By accepting this booking you hereby agree that if you or any other occupant, including any guests breach our Terms & Conditions your name, phone number, email and vehicle details along with details of the breach may be disclosed to other properties as a warning for future reservations. Kirra Palms management reserves the right to cancel any booking where we have been notified of unacceptable behaviour at previous properties. FUTURE RESERVATIONS Future reservations do not automatically repeat. If you wish to make a reservation for a future stay please enquire via the office and the usual reservation arrangements will apply. MINORS No guest under the age of 21 will be permitted to occupy the holiday units unless accompanied by an adult. A bond of $2000.00 may be required for group bookings. Schoolies bookings cannot be accepted as we do not have the policies, procedures and or the resources to accomodate these bookings. KEYS & LOCKOUT Should a guest require duplicate keys afterhours a $80.00 service fee may be charged. If no spare key is available guests may be liabe for any costs involved in gaining entry into the premises. Guests must not break in or attept to break into the premises when locked out. If locked out, please contact the office at any time. If it is afterhours, we do not guarentee we will be able to assist and a call out fee may apply. PROPERTY OCCUPANCY Each apartment is equipped for a specific number of occupants and this would be advised based on your booking requirements. If this is not followed you may be asked to leave and no monies will be refunded to the guests. It is against health department regulations for more persons to occupy a property than there are beds to accomodate them. Please discuss your needs when making the booking as we can arrange cots or rollaway beds for young children if necessary. Additional charges would apply. CLEANING Our housekeeper has prepared your apartment to a high standard. We ask in turn that you show consideration by being neat and tidy, placing wrapped garbage in the binds provided and washing, drying & putting away dishes. Any reports of unsatisfactory cleanliness of the premises must be reported to our office immediately. Garbage bins are located outside of the gate near the office at the top of the driveway. The yellow lid is for recycling and the black lid is for general garbage. A $60.00 BBQ cleaning fee will be charged if the BBQ area is left in an unsatisfactory condition after use by yourself or your guests. We ask that fish is not cleaned on the premises.
