We've escaped the big city life, the traffic, the rain and the event industry (though we miss the good parts), in search of a better life and lifestyle for our little family. We took over Lake Dunstan Motel in June of 2023 and are living the dream! Cromwell has so much to offer to you as our guests. Great weather – we really do get all four seasons – a laid back community, and loads to explore from wine to walks, the Lake Dunstan Bike Trail, Highlands Motorsport Park, Old Cromwell, hot pools, and you're just a stone throws away from Wanaka and Queenstown! Hotel Policy — All ages welcome. Please note that anyone under 20 must be accompanied by an adult. — Sorry, no pets. — No smoking or vaping in the rooms, however these are permitted outdoors. Please consider neighbouring guests as you do so. — FREE WiFi in all areas. — FREE on-site parking for one car. Plenty of free street parking for any additional vehicles, trailers, oversized vehicles etc. — Please refrain from cooking fragrant meals (like seafood, curries etc) in the units. We are happy to suggest some of our great local restaurants as an alternative. — Please note that payments processed via credit card will incur a 2.9% transaction fee. — Cancellation Policy is as follows: Any cancellations made within 48hours prior to the check in date, will incur the first night's accommodation as a fee.
