No.1 Hastings - Booking Terms & Conditions Our Body Corporate does not allow parties or large gatherings of any type in our apartments & penthouses. To do so will result in eviction without refund. Cots, high chairs, strollers available for hire - please enquire when booking your accommodation. TARIFFS We utilize dynamic pricing and prices may vary across different dates and room types and are subject to change anytime. All bookings are subject to availability. Any quote given is an estimate of price and will only be confirmed once a deposit is paid and written confirmation is issued. All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars. CANCELLATION POLICY LOW & MID SEASON: If a booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded less $181.50 cancellation fee. If the booking is cancelled under 30 days prior to arrival, there will be a refund less $181.50 cancellation fee if the apartment is relet for the same period of time, if not relet, a refund will not apply. PEAK & HIGH SEASON: If a booking is cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded less $220.00 cancellation fee. If the booking is cancelled under 60 days prior to arrival, there will be a refund less $220.00 cancellation fee if the apartment is relet for the same period of time, if not relet, a refund will not apply. DEPOSITS A deposit equal to 50% of the total rental is required within 7 days to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% payment is required 30 days (in low and mid season) or 60 days (in high and peak season) prior to your arrival date. Bookings may be made only by persons over the age of 25. BOOKING AMENDMENTS All booking amendments are subject to availability and applicable pricing increases. Amendments must be made outside of 30 days prior to arrival in low and mid season and 60 days in high and peak season. Within these periods, no amendments are permissible. SPECIAL REQUESTS Whilst One Hastings attempts to accommodate all special requests (subject to availability), we cannot guarantee that special requests can be accommodated. SMOKING & VAPING Unfortunately, no smoking or vaping is permitted on the premises. This includes balconies, outdoor areas and common areas. Fines up to $1,500 may be applied should smoking be suspected on the premises. CREDIT CARDS We accept Direct Debit, MasterCard or Visa with no surcharge. We also accept American Express however a 3% surcharge will apply. TRAVEL INSURANCE One Hastings Pty Ltd strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including however not limited to; cover for forfeiture of deposits/payments, unfortunate medical or personal situations that prevent you from staying the booked dates or part thereof, and damage or loss to personal items. Unfortunately we are unable to be flexible on the terms and conditions of your booking. PHOTO ID & CREDIT CARD Upon check in you will be required to provide photographic identification matching the booking details and physical credit card used for payment. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled. CHECK IN Check in time is 3.00pm. Should you wish to guarantee an earlier check in time you must book an additional night’s stay at the time of booking and pay the applicable rate. CHECK OUT Check out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to guarantee a later check out time you must book an additional night’s stay at the time of booking and pay the applicable rate. You are welcome to utilize the resort facilities and guest amenities for the day of departure UNACCOMPANIED MINORS All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian at all times. If a guest is found to be under the age of 18 and is not accompanied by an adult, One Hastings Pty Ltd may immediately cancel the guest’s booking. POLICY ON ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR We are committed to maintaining a peaceful, respectful, and safe environment for all individuals on the property. Any form of aggression, abusive behavior, or any conduct that may cause harm, discomfort, or distress to others on the property will not be tolerated. Action will be taken, that may result in a termination of your reservation. RELEASE & INDEMNITY To the extent permitted by law, any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought into the room or onto grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and One Hastings Pty Ltd is not responsible for their safekeeping. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless One Hastings Pty Ltd and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at One Hastings Pty Ltd for any reason whatsoever. You agree to indemnify One Hastings Pty Ltd and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by One Hastings Pty Ltd or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at One Hastings Pty Ltd except to the extent caused or contributed to by One Hastings Pty Ltd or its current or former officers, employees or agent's negligence. We grant you a licence to stay at our property and we reserve the right to terminate the licence at any time. GOOD TO BOOK - Disclaimer [Last updated 7 March 2022] We are a member of Good To Book, a risk management database for Short Term Accommodation Providers (STAPs) (‘GtoB database’). We will use the GtoB database to search your name and the names of guests booking or staying with you at our accommodation. If we find an entry on the GtoB database, this indicates that there was some problem caused by you, or one of your guests, at a previous accommodation you have stayed at. Based on information on the GtoB database, we may refuse to accept your accommodation request or booking (and will refund any money you have paid) or we may impose additional restrictions on your stay (for example, an additional security bond). We cannot check the accuracy of the GtoB database nor can we disclose to you any information on the GtoB database or the STAP who uploaded the information, as this information is confidential. The information on the database is used for evaluative purposes so accommodation providers can decide whether to enter into a contract for accommodation with you or not. Any concerns you have with the GtoB database will need to be discussed with GtoB directly. You can contact GtoB via email at admin@goodtobook.com. We accept no liability for our use of the GtoB database, including any reliance we make on the information contained on the GtoB database, even if the information uploaded is incorrect. We may also upload information to the GtoB database if you cause damage or harm to us, our staff, guests or our property during your stay. Providing we are not negligent, we will not be liable to you or any other person for any consequence arising from the upload of information to the GtoB database by us.
