Jenny and Peter Sutherland are proud owners and hosts of The Moorings. They came to Wanaka and The Moorings from Dunedin in 2016. Jenny and Peter have a great team of people at The Moorings and are committed to ensuring their guests have a great experience at Wanaka. Away from The Moorings Jenny is a teaching artist (www.tehartistscorner.co.nz) and Peter sails a Laser dinghy.

Visitors - Guest’s visitors are required depart by 11.00pm. Extra Guests – Extra guests above the number declared will be charged to the used to secure the booking. Children - Children 5 years and over charged at adult rate. Children under 5 are free of charge. A portacot and highchair is available. Any extra person needs to be confirmed by management Noise - Please consider the neighbouring guests during your stay. Parties are not permitted. Smoking - Smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors. Outside doors must be closed If smoking on the decks, balconies or patios. If smoke is detected inside any room there will be a charge made to the credit card used to secure the booking.. Damage - We accept that minor accidents such as a broken glass may happen. However, costs resulting from significant accidents or deliberate or reckless behavior by guests or visitors invited by guests will be charged to the credit card used to secure the booking. Unreasonable Cleaning – Where a room requires unreasonable cleaning due to Guest cooking or other actions there will be a charge made to the credit card used to secure the booking. Travel Insurance - Unfortunately things can go wrong when on holiday. We recommend guests have appropriate travel insurance to protect themselves from these unforeseen circumstances.
