GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS Bookings are accepted on the understanding that our Guests agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions. Please read these conditions carefully. Each person signing these conditions on arrival (“the Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the apartment or complex and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest. These Terms and Conditions are correct at time of printing but may be altered in the future. 1. ACCOMMODATION CHARGES • Must be paid by credit card or direct bank transfer in full before occupancy commences. • We accept MasterCard, Visa and AMEX (3% surcharge). Please be advised that we do not have the facility to accept Diners Card. • Check in time is 2pm and checkout time is 10am, fees apply for late checkout. 2. SECURITY DEPOSIT - A pre-authorisation of $300 per apartment may be required on the day of check-in using MasterCard or Visa credit card, if the guest does not have a credit card. Deposits will be released back onto the credit card after the stay. Once the apartment has been cleaned and inspected, the bond will be mailed by cheque/direct debit into the nominated bank account. All pre-authorisation details shredded. In all case identification in the form of a Drivers Licence or Passport will be required on check-in 3. IDENTIFICATION - All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18. We reserve the right to refuse any booking if the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID on check-in. All guests over 18 must be identified in the check-in form with contact details. 4. CHARGES - The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by the Guest together with necessary costs to repair any damage or loss to the apartment and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by the Guest. The guest agrees to pay the daily rate on an apartment for any downtime on the apartment caused by damage by the guest. (i.e.: where the Apartment cannot be rented out) Specific Fixed changes Include: • $1,200 for Fire Department Call-outs due to steam or smoke resulting from smoking and/or negligent use of bathrooms, kitchens and BBQs or smoking • $200 Security Call Out Fee for noise complaints or other breaches of resort rules • $100 Lockout Fee – call out charge to provide access after-hours, due to guest losing the key card • $100 Call Out fee for Emergency Repairs due to guest damage or negligence • $100 for removal of rubbish left in the apartment • $100 min charge for excessive cleaning of apartment • $20 for lost access keys • $50 BBQ cleaning fee • $300 penalty for smoking in apartments - to allow for steam cleaning. *Smoking is not permitted. • $500 fee for hypoallergenic cleaning for pets* Pets are not permitted • Other damage, cleaning, breakage, relocating furniture, etc will be charged an admin fee of $50 plus costs to rectify. 5. AUTHORISATION - The guest authorises the Manager to charge the credit card provided for the booking for any loss, damage, a monetary contribution for which the Guest is liable under this document or otherwise. 6. RESORT RULES The by-laws, rules and regulations of the complex and any reasonable direction of the Manager or Security must be complied with. Security patrols monitor the resort at night. • No Party Policy – the resort has a no-party policy, parties cannot be hosted in apartments or common areas • Noise - no noise after 10pm and balconies must be closed if any noise is made please respect other guests right to enjoy their stay. • Pool area is for the use of in house guests only. No music can be played, No Glass in the pool area and any guests taking glass into the pool area is liable for repairs and cleaning costs if the glass is broken in the pool area, pool must be drained and ,cleared of any broken glass. Young children must wear swimming nappies, the guest will be responsible for the costs of cleaning up a faecal matter incident in the pool. • Pets are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of guide dogs or assistance dogs if pet fur is found cleaning charges will apply. • Rubbish must be deposited in the correct bins in the car parks and should not be left in the apartments (failure to remove your rubbish will result in extra cleaning charges. • No Smoking permitted in Apartments/Townhouses/Penthouses or their balconies or our grounds The Rise is a smoke free property. • Breaches - If, after receiving a warning from the Manager or Security, the Guest fails to comply with resort rules, the apartment must be vacated immediately, and guests will forfeit the booking. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction to the Guest and removal of the Guest’s property 7. INSPECTION - The Manager may inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions. 8. LOSS OF PROPERTY - Neither the Body Corporate, the Manager nor the apartment owner is liable for any damage or loss of property which the Guest may sustain while on the complex. 9. CAR PARKING - There is a maximum of one car space per apartment, please don’t park in spaces marked private. 10. GUESTS The maximum number of guests included in the tariff is as follows. • 1 Bedroom Apartment – Up to 2 guests • 2 Bedroom Apartment – Up to 4 guests • 3 Bedroom Apartment – Up to 6 guests Additional guests to your booking are welcome subject to the maximum number of guests able to be accommodated in any individual apartment. A charged of $50 per night will apply for each extra adult or child, not on the original booking. If additional beds or cots need to be hired, further charges will apply. The standard bedding configuration is: • Bedroom 1- 1 King/Queen Bed • Bedroom 2 - 1 King/Queen or 2 Singles • Bedroom 3 - 2 King/Queen Bed or 2 singles 11. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION • Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities at The Rise Noosa is accurate, we cannot be held responsible for any misinterpretation. If any feature or facility is essential to the guest’s requirements, we suggest the guest checks this with the reservation staff at the time of booking. Certain facilities may be taken out of service for repairs from time to time. • Website photos show only one or two of the apartments of each type, apartments are structurally the same they are not all to the same standard or style of furnishing and upkeep. • Requests for specific apartments are a REQUEST only and although every effort will be made to meet the request, due to factors out of our control we cannot always guarantee that the requested style or specific apartment can be allocated. Please note: We have a premium range available for guests wishing to secure a specific apartment. • Properties throughout the Noosa area are continuously being renovated either in the same complex or nearby properties. This is beyond our control and neither the management nor owners can be held accountable for what another owner does in his property. In the event work is being carried out in our building we will endeavour to minimise the disturbance to our guests. • No responsibility will be taken for disturbances or inconveniences coming from neighbouring buildings. 12. CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund will be paid in the case of a no-show the full value of your confirmed accommodation will be forfeited. If the guest arrives after the confirmed arrival date or departs before the confirmed departure date the guest will still be responsible for the total of the original confirmed “Total Accommodation Charge.” At The Rise we have a low and a high season cancellation policy. Low Season Policy: All bookings are 100% refundable until 14 days prior to your arrival. At 14 days prior to your arrival, bookings become non refundable and full payment will be automatically taken from your credit card and a confirmation emailed to you. This policy applies too all dates except the high season dates below. High Season Policy: All bookings are 100% refundable until 30 days prior to your arrival. At 30 days prior to your arrival, bookings become non refundable and full payment will be automatically taken from your credit card and a confirmation emailed to you. The High Season Policy applies to the following dates: 14 September - 6 October 2024, 30 October 2024 - 05 November 2024, 18 December 2024 - 18 January 2024. Please contact us if you require more information. OUR CANCELLATION POLICY IS FIRM AND WE RECOMMEND THAT GUESTS TAKE OUT ADEQUATE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER THE LOSS OF DEPOSIT OR ACCOMMODATION CHARGES SHOULD THE CANCELLATION POLICY BE APPLIED. 13. DEPOSIT POLICY No deposit is required at time of booking unless you are already within the cutoff for free cancellation. Full payment for your accommodation will be charged to your credit card once your free cancellation period ends and a receipt will be emailed to you. Property Cancellation Policy RISE APARTMENTS CANCELLATION POLICY Special offers / packages / discounted rates Full payment upon booking and no amendments, cancellations, or refunds will be accepted. For all seasons No refunds will be given for early departure, reduction of stay, or on discounted rates or packages. TripAdvisor Terms and Conditions We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of this booking. For example, we may share some information about you with these third parties so that they can contact you directly by email (for example: to obtain post stay reviews about your travel experience). SCHOOLIES - School leavers bookings are not permitted at The Rise, they will be cancelled and refunded. Good To Book Disclaimer [Last updated 7 March 2022] 1. We are a member of Good To Book, a risk management database for Short Term Accommodation Providers (STAPs) (‘GtoB database’). We will use the GtoB database to search your name and the names of guests booking or staying with you at our accommodation. 2. If we find an entry on the GtoB database, this indicates that there was some problem caused by you, or one of your guests, at a previous accommodation you have stayed at. Based on information on the GtoB database, we may refuse to accept your accommodation request or booking (and will refund any money you have paid) or we may impose additional restrictions on your stay (for example, an additional security bond). 3. We cannot check the accuracy of the GtoB database nor can we disclose to you any information on the GtoB database or the STAP who uploaded the information, as this information is confidential. The information on the database is used for evaluative purposes so accommodation providers can decide whether to enter into a contract for accommodation with you or not. Any concerns you have with the GtoB database will need to be discussed with GtoB directly. You can contact GtoB via email at 4. We accept no liability for our use of the GtoB database, including any reliance we make on the information contained on the GtoB database, even if the information uploaded is incorrect. 5. We may also upload information to the GtoB database if you cause damage or harm to us, our staff, guests or our property during your stay. Providing we are not negligent, we will not be liable to you or any other person for any consequence arising from the upload of information to the GtoB database by us.
