Terms & Conditions of Holiday Letting Booking Full rental fee is payable by the guest/s in advance and before the keys to the property are released. All bookings are subject to negotiation and approval with the owners. A booking may be cancelled or altered by the owner at any time. In the event of this occurring, we will endeavour to find alternative accommodation. Mark Gunther First National cannot be held responsible for the action taken by the owner, third party or unforeseen event occurring beyond our control. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that the information on your confirmation form is correct. This includes dates and amounts charged. Booking Sight Unseen As you are booking a property over the phone or via photos on the internet without viewing the property in person, we cannot be held responsible for any change to the property or misconception of the description. While every effort is taken to provide correct information, inventories may change, and the Agent/Owner takes no responsibility for this. Reservation & Deposit To secure your holiday accommodation we require a deposit upon reservation with the balance due 7 business days prior to your check-in date, if booking is less than 30 days to check in date total payment is required. If payment is made by direct deposit you must supply valid credit card details on file for security purposes. Final Payment If the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to charge your credit card, plus merchant fee. All deposits and final payments are held in our fully audited Trust Account. Payment of deposit denotes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Damage As a guest, you are responsible for all damages, breakages and losses incurred during the occupancy. All damages, breakages and losses must be replaced, repaid for or made good to the satisfaction of the agent/owner. This includes replacing/recutting lost keys. The guest/s will take all reasonable care of the premises and promptly report to the agent any malfunctions, damage and losses. Tariffs Are subject to change without notice. No responsibility is accepted for error and omissions on this website Maximum Number of Guests The number of guests of the rented premises must not exceed the number of beds provided or the number agreed to with the agent at the time of booking. No caravans or tents are to be erected on the property. Noise We ask that you consider neighbours and comply with any statutory laws and regulations applicable to the premises. Weddings, Parties, Events… Anything Properties we managed are used purely for holiday accommodation only. A charge of $2000.00 will be incurred should any type of party or function be held on the property. All bond monies will automatically be forfeited, and you will be required to vacate the property immediately if any sort of function is held on the rented property. Inspections The guest/s will permit the agent and persons authorized by the agent to enter the premises during the letting term for necessary repair, investigation of complaints or inspection of the premises if the agent is inclined to suspect or has been informed that extra persons are occupying the premises. Smoking All properties are non- smoking. Please do not leave discarded cigarette butts in the outdoor areas. Any butts that need removing from pathways, lawns, garden beds etc will incur a cleaning fee. Arrivals & Departures Our properties will be available for check in on the time indicated on your arrival letter on the day of arrival. You must vacate the property also by the time indicated on your arrival letter on the day of departure. We endeavour to accommodate special requests although we recommend booking an extra day for early check in or late check-out. We do not have the facilities to store personal belongings before arrival or after departure. Please ensure you place key/s back in key safe on departure. Keys Loss of keys will incur a $200.00 charge separate to the bond. Linen All properties are let with linen (being towels, tea towels & all bed linen); unless otherwise stated you will not be required to bring linen. Most of our homes have toiletries and detergents. Pets No animals are permitted in any of our properties, unless the property is deemed pet friendly. All bond monies will automatically be forfeited, and you will be required to vacate the property immediately if pets are found on the rented property. Personal Property No responsibility will be taken by the agent or the owner for the guest’s possessions left at the property. If any items are left and need to be returned, you will be responsible for the cost of postage and packaging plus a $25.00 handling fee Indemnity The Guest/s: uses and occupies the premises at his/her own risk: and indemnifies the owner/agent against any liability which may attach to the owner/agent because of injury or loss of being personal or proprietary suffered by any person where any damage or loss has been contributed to or caused by any act or occasion of the guest or his/her agent. Disclaimer Mark Gunther First National does not accept liability in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, extreme weather, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents, theft to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action. For the avoidance of doubt, the Cancellation Policy applies to cancellations by reason directly or indirectly related to events which are beyond our control including warnings issued by any authority. Privacy Act The Personal information the Guest/s provides or that which is collected from other sources is necessary for the Agent to verify the applicant’s identity, process and contact Guest/s. The personal information collected about the Guest/s may be disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected to other parties including the landlord, our staff, our cleaners or contractors if a problem arises, the police (if a problem arises) referees, financial institutions, other Agents, third party operators of tenancy reference databases may also be disclosed to the Agent or the Owner
