SLOW | SIMPLE | LUXURIES If you are anything like us, you will love visiting our stays. We travel slowly. We like to connect with a place and the people who live there. We prefer to ease into our day, with coffee in bed, yoga on the deck or a stroll. We like to spend our days exploring; hiking, swimming, bike riding, sailing, or when the mood strikes, enjoying a picnic on the beach or lazing by the pool. Our nights could be spent making new friends at the local, or simply relaxing under the stars with a wine, reading, or soaking in a warm tub. We try to keep things simple. Travel should be a joy and not stressful. We do all that we can to make sure every aspect of our stays, from arrival to departure, is easy and simple. We love a bit of luxury. We appreciate attention to detail and thoughtful touches. While we like exploring the path less traveled, and being off-grid, we still like to indulge in little luxuries. We love nothing more than, early check-ins and late check-outs, arrival treats, hotel bed linen, boutique hand wash and lotions, a good movie on a big screen, or an in-house massage. We are hosts. Having had the pleasure of staying in some of the most wonderful hosted homes around the world, we now feel fortunate to provide accommodation that reflects everything that we value in a short term stay. We want you to enjoy your time away and make the most of what each property has to offer.
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the "Guest") and the Property Owner and Agent (collectively referred to as "Management"). ______________________________________________________ LIABILITY & INDEMNITY The Guest acknowledges and agrees that the Property Owner and Agent will not be held responsible or liable for: Any injury, loss, or damage suffered by you or your guests while on the property due to failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Any injury, loss, or damage caused by your own negligence or that of your guests, including failure to follow house rules, instructions, or guidelines outlined in the House Manual. Any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of facilities and activities provided at the property. Any injury, loss, or damage caused by wildlife in or around the accommodation. Guests must exercise caution and avoid interaction with wildlife at all times. You, the Guest, indemnify the Property Owner and Agent against any liability for damage, injury, or loss where such damage, injury, or loss has been caused by you or your guests. Management reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at their discretion. ______________________________________________________ PAYMENT TERMS Bookings are not confirmed until full payment has been received. Full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to arrival. ______________________________________________________ CANCELLATION POLICY Your specific booking confirmation will outline the applicable cancellation policy: Flexible: Free cancellation up to 1 day before arrival. If cancelled within 1 day before arrival, 100% of the total booking cost will be charged. Moderate: Free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival. If cancelled within 5 days before arrival, 100% of the total booking cost will be charged. ______________________________________________________ THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS If you have booked via Airbnb, Booking.com, or Stayz, their respective Terms & Conditions apply. ______________________________________________________ OCCUPANCY, VISITORS & USE The property is for private/residential use only and must only accommodate the number of guests stated in your booking confirmation, including infants and children. No events or parties are permitted at any time. Visitors are not permitted on the property unless prior approval has been granted by Management. Guests are responsible for the behaviour of any approved visitors. Exceeding the stated number of guests or visitors without permission (including infants and children) may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund. ______________________________________________________ ROOM USAGE If your booking is for a set number of rooms, you may only use the rooms allocated in your confirmation email. If additional rooms are used, you will be charged for the extra rooms plus additional cleaning fees. ______________________________________________________ NOISE & NEIGHBOURHOOD RESPECT Guests must be mindful of neighbours and keep noise to a minimum at all times. If noise complaints are received, Management reserves the right to require guests to vacate the premises without refund. ______________________________________________________ CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Mid-stay cleaning and linen changes are available upon request for an additional fee. We ask that guests leave the property in a reasonable condition upon departure, which includes: Washing dishes. Emptying and disposing of used food items from the fridge. Taking the rubbish to the outside bins. Returning any moved furniture or items to their original location. If the property is left in an unreasonable state, additional cleaning charges may apply. Please leave the property tidy upon departure. ______________________________________________________ PETS Pets are not permitted on the property. ______________________________________________________ DAMAGE & BREAKAGES Guests are responsible for any damage, breakages, or loss caused to the property, furnishings, or fittings. Any such damage must be reported immediately. Failure to report may result in additional charges to your credit card or security deposit. ______________________________________________________ SMOKING POLICY Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the property. Evidence of smoking (including odour) will result in a $500 fee to cover deep cleaning and deodorisation costs. ______________________________________________________ RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE BOOKINGS Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its sole discretion if it is deemed unsuitable for the property.
